Albertus Magnus College’s HistoryAlbertus Magnus College was originally founded as a women’s college in 1925 and later became co-educational in all its programs in 1985. That same year, the Continuing Education Division expanded its offerings for adult students to include an accelerated degree program. In 1992, Albertus Magnus College offered its first graduate program for adult students and has since added four other graduate programs. Today, Albertus Magnus College has an enrollment of 2,400 students in adult undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Our MissionAlbertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut emphasizes the search for truth in all its dimensions as the foundation of the traditional undergraduate day programs, undergraduate programs for the adult student and graduate degree programs. Adult Education Program FeaturesThe Albertus Magnus College degree programs are designed for adult students who are trying to earn their associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree while maintaining their personal and professional lives. The Connecticut college classes are held at locations and times that are convenient for working adult students, and allow students to work in small teams to encourage interactive discussion and team-building skills. Albertus Magnus College students enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree program can complete their accelerated adult degree programs in two to four years with the help of dedicated and caring faculty. |
